Our App (Food Ninja)

Our app provides all kinds of features to guide and help you fight waste — food, household items, and all sorts of other items. Our mission is to reduce the amount of waste that comes from households. So, we provide features like:
Item tracking and periodic notifications with AI guidance, such as voice transcript creation and photo snapping into records.
Donation center list mapping and database with accepted items and other info (currently Taiwan only).
AI chat to provide recipes & meal plans and more. Attach your inventory and donation center database easily.
Trees gamification — you grow a virtual tree when you hit milestones in the app, and we plant real trees once your virtual one completes growing. We reforest mangroves in southeastern Kenya!
Sync your items & records to four main platforms: Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Apple Calendar, and Apple Reminders.
Siri & Shortcuts integration to create records from there.
Various widgets to help you take a glance at important information quickly on your directly home screen.

Events This June

We have two events upcoming this June:
World Environment Day
The event this month will be hosted in Azerbaijan on June 5, 2026! Azerbaijan is a land of remarkable natural diversity. This year’s theme is: “Climate action”, hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme.
We are crossing the 1.5℃ limit. We are crossing it. Learn more about it here: https://www.worldenvironmentday.global/2026/about/theme-and-host. Let’s all acknowledge the importance of the protection of the environment nowadays. We can all contribute and help raise awareness!
World Rainforest Day
This June, plan a walk through a forest, park, or trail and get to know it. Maybe even share it on social media. Embrace the beauty of nature and the rainforests.
